“For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
1 John 5:4-5
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”
1 John 4:16b
Living in God and working with Him is the place to be! God in you! What a privilege! What a responsibility! When the Bible says “Faith works by Love,” it is saying Faith works by God, love Himself, living inside of your born again spirit!
Jesus states very clearly that He has overcome the world for us. The Apostle John says it this way; “…whoever is born of God overcomes the world!”
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
There is something about being with Jesus. There is something about being with The Word.
Always remember that Jesus is the Word. You may never meet Him face to face until He comes to rapture us to heaven but you can know Him. You know Him through the Word, you know Him by spending time, hours, minutes, days in His presence. His presence is His Word, His Spirit is captured in your heart by spending time. Time that is precious. The Spirit in you yearns jealously for you to spend time.
Basic. Simple. The beginning. All words that are significant in reminding us that when things become complicated we need to remember. The subject of faith can become a little like that. We start out with what little we know and then move forward, growing and developing. We increase steadily and we delve deeply. We begin to learn some things and then we teach others what we have learnt, however, if we are not careful things can become complicated. We can become presumptuous of others, thinking they understand what we are saying. We think we are at a new level that has perhaps left behind what we first new and that the fundamentals are no longer necessary.
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
When a light shines from a lighthouse ships are alerted to danger. When lights are on a runway airplanes know where to land. Light is helpful as a warning and also as a guide.
The entrance of God’s Word brings light. His Word will alert you to the enemies tactics and it will also eradicate darkness that stands in your way. God’s Word will guide you and will illuminate your path as you move forward into the unknown. The more Word…the more Light.
The very reason we have any chance of success as human beings is the God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth, is involved with mankind. We must remember He created us, He blessed us and He forgave us! Success alone in this life could simply be defined as forgiven! Our future was death, hell and the grave. When God sent His son, Jesus, to save us He created the doorway for an abundant life for every human being.
Over the last few weeks, in our live broadcast series, we have been developing and discussing the laws of prosperity. These laws are not presented to us in the Bible like the ten commandments but rather written down throughout the old and new testament. In preaching these laws I have begun to get new and fresh revelation of the Father’s Heart towards the body of Christ in His desire to see us prosper.
Prosperity may have been a bad word over the years in the church but I believe that if we look at it from the perspective of the Word of God and not our opinions we can quite clearly see that God’s desire is to see Christian’s grow exponentially in all areas of their lives.
