The Foundation for Success.
The very reason we have any chance of success as human beings is the God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth, is involved with mankind. We must remember He created us, He blessed us and He forgave us! Success alone in this life could simply be defined as forgiven! Our future was death, hell and the grave. When God sent His son, Jesus, to save us He created the doorway for an abundant life for every human being.
When Jesus defeated sin and hell and led captivity captivity He demonstrated complete victory! Victory for Jesus is victory for every Christian because we enter into the family through Jesus! We are joint-heirs of what Jesus accomplished. That is true prosperity and true success…the by-products of that victory are still not realised!
In saying all that we must realise that the foundation of all spiritual, mental, and financial success must the Word of God.
Deuteronomy 8:18 states:
“But you shalt remember the Lord your God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”
When we remember and put our focus on God being our source of supply for life, especially finances, we establish the foundation for the Blessing of God to flow. When the blessing flows you begin to succeed. Psalm 1 is one of my favourite Psalms. It declares that we will prosper in all that we do…that’s a great quote. However, there are conditions to that saying.
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”
- Walk with Godly people not sinners.
- Delight in the Word of God
- Meditate on the Word day AND night.
- Become planted in God, His Word and His Kingdom
Following this pattern we see that prospering in all that we do stems from a foundation of God, His Word and His Ways. That is a foundation you can build on!!
Declare this today: “I have faith in the Word of God. I act on it and I will position myself for growth and increase across all areas of my life!”
