Chosen to Run!
“This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an Apostle of Christ Jesus.”
“He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its OWN SPECIAL work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”
Ephesians 1:1, 4:16,17
The Apostle Paul was chosen to be an apostle. He was chosen by the will of God. God handpicked him to be a part of His body doing a specific task. Paul was chosen and he followed that calling to the end of his life. He may have had a spectacular introduction to Jesus Himself but Paul still had to step into his calling.
Paul submitted his life to God. Paul committed to fulfilling the call that he had. Paul pressed through and created a target to aim for. Paul counted everything behind him as lost. He kept going. He kept pressing!
My point is that Paul was chosen to do his task. He pushed to make sure that he played his part. You are also chosen. You are also gifted. You are also in a position to fulfil your commission.
God hasn’t just selected certain people to carry the load of the assignment for His church. We know that we are a part of the body but for too long far too many of us look at our part as useless, worthless or some have even said that they can’t play a part.
We must realise that each and every one of us has a part to play. In fact, the part you are playing right now could lead to more parts being played! Our talents are meant to grow, expand and become far reaching to those around us. We were never created to become unmoving or stagnant. If we aren’t moving forward we are being left behind!
We each have a special part to play. When you and I play our part we help others grow. We are not a fully healthy body even if one of us isn’t functioning properly. We are also a growing body. We need all of us to become healthy. We all need to grow for the body to correctly grow in proportion!
As you read this blog post challenge yourself to find your place. Find where you are meant to be, where you are meant to prosper and to where you are meant to serve. God has a special work for you to do! He has a place for you in His body. Jesus is championing you to succeed!

The race is meant to be run, let’s run it! Grow up today! Help those around you to grow. Become full of love today! You were CHOSEN to run and to complete a SPECIAL work!
