Sunday Reflections
Waking up this morning I sense the spirit of God allowing me to reflect back to what took place at our church service in Preston over the weekend. Yesterday was special for us as a church and I have noticed that the meetings are building. I don’t know if you have sensed the same but as more and more talk of revival has been taking place across the earth there is a rising expectation in the air. If you are sensitive to the things of God you will know something in the spirit realm is brewing.
The last few years have been difficult for so many and many will not recover. For many it will get worse and the hardships of the End Times will be all too real. The world is crumbling, crying out for a revelation, a revealing of the sons of God. People are hungry but now peolple are getting to the point of desperation. Desperate to connect with God. Christians who have been battered and defeated are ready to be set free. People of the world are seeking more. The time is ripe for a real move of God. The move of the Church.
As the spirit of revival is preached with fire and passion and faith continues to rise I believe that the people of God across this region, this nation and the world will start to see this last move of God before the rapture of the church. This move of God isn’t as sovereign as many people would like to describe, no God is not moving because He has decided it would be a good time to move. He is not in heaven saying that, “Oh, look, it’s getting hard on the earth, I better do something…” In fact, the sooner you realise that God is always moving, He is always laughing in the heavens and God is always wanting His people to rise up the sooner the church of Jesus Christ will walk in this end time calling and assignment.
Always remember that God has already moved. He sent His Son 2000 years ago. He sent His Son to establish an eternal kingdom and He has provided a way for you and I to sit in the heavens and laugh with Him! The Almighty is in Revival every day, He is a 24/7 God, working and moving in the earth today. His grace is freely accessed, and His peace is yours to live in today. The kingdom that Jesus established is in fact full of righteousness, peace and JOY in the Holy Ghost. Greater is one day in His courts than a thousand elsewhere!!
Our job as Christians is to maintain the reality of His Kingdom. When our hearts are filled daily the life that bubbles up will become the foundation of true Revival in your life. The revival I am talking about will produce in you passionate worship, on fire prayer, and a life more abundant. You will become a supernatural and generous giver and you will have a passion for the lost.
When you put all of those things together you end up with the definition of Revival! Christians operating in their new creation status. In fact, Christians operating in abundant life is the death nail on the coffin of defeat, lack and anything the enemy throws at you. Living in abundant life is living revival…living in the OVERFLOW!
Psalm 42 is a demonstration of the Christian going through some stuff. Many of us are going through some stuff. Many Christians face many battles and hard decisions daily…
Psalms 42:9-11
“O God my rock,” I cry,
“Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I wander around in grief, oppressed by my enemies?”
Their taunts break my bones. They scoff, “Where is this God of yours?”
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
I will praise him again—
my Savior and my God!
Look at that last refrain…”I will…”
Revival comes when you are living in a place of overflow but to get to the place of overflow you must declare…”I will…”
I will praise Him.
I will worship Him.
I will declare His works.
I will long for Him as the deer pants for the waters.
I will call from the depths of my soul unto Him.
I will declare of His wonders!
I will praise Him…NO MATTER WHAT!
Revival is available to you today. Carry it. Dig deep wherever you are and allow the Kingdom that Jesus died for to be established in you, let it rise up and be declared on your lips today. Live in the overflow. Shout His praise. Dance in your house and let JOY rise up. It may seem hard, like a crazy thing to do but you have inside of you all that you need to see complete victory today in your life!
IN CONCLUSION…
Carry it wherever you go and believe that you will instigate change in peoples lives. Revival is in the air. When you get to church on Sunday, or any of the day of the week just let it rip out of you like a tidal wave. Rivers of life and joy flowing freely. Let’s do church and life right in these last days. Let’s walk like the world over comers we are! Let’s go win this world for Jesus!
Joy, victory and overwhelming praise belongs to the God who has done it all for you! It is your job to live in it!
