The True Flow of Life…

Proverbs 2:2

Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.

A musical instrument needs to be in tune with itself. An instrument also needs to be in tune with the orchestra. This is called concert pitch. An instrument can have it’s own tuning but when it joins with others it needs to tuned to the same pitch so that the music is clean, clear and beautiful. Even if the instruments are tuned correctly the responsibility of the musicians is to be aware of what the other players are performing in order to create the music that the listener will enjoy. You need be tuned in and you need to concentrate.

There is a flow in the spirit realm. It is not luck or guess work. We need to be tuned in and concentrating in our lives. We need to listen intently for the flow of Grace and then develop yourselves to operate with the lifestyle of faith. Learn this: There is a force of faith and there are rhythms of grace. The force of faith will create and bring to pass all that you, as a believer, can obtain within grace. Grace flows ahead of your life and creates space for you. The force of faith creates a life worth living within the framework of grace.

Imagine going on a cruise or working on a large shipping vessel. On that ship you begin realise that this ship cannot go beyond the sea. A large ship is made to take on any wave, storm or can simply enjoy the peaceful still water but the minute that ship hits land it has to stop with a crashing, abrupt and possibly, destructive, end. The ship’s captain is in charge of steering the ship into safe waters and to plot a course that is necessary and timely to reach the destination.

1 Timothy 1:18-19

This charge I commit unto you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on you, that you by them might war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

We can shipwreck our faith. We can shipwreck our lives. We can reach out and go beyond the grace that God has given us. We can ignore the wisdom that we need to be in tune with. We can steer our lives away from the safety of the plan God has for our live. Our lives can crash, burn and become sometimes become unrecoverable.

The prophecies Paul is referring to in Timothy includes God’s written Word, the inward voice that God speaks to you with and the  gifts of the Holy Spirit through a minister or friend. We must learn that God speaks through his Word and by His Spirit. These words are words of Grace so you can operate in the force of faith. Grace is wisdom’s voice to your heart, leading you and developing you as you go out into deep waters.

This wisdom of God is grace that you can live by. It is your shipping lane. Large ships can, by design, go anywhere in the ocean but when they are on assignment they have a shipping lane. Ships can get attacked by pirates, face storms or face the beauty of peaceful waves. A ship that sticks to It’s lane will ensure the destination is completed in the right time and with right profit. The shipping lane is a protected place.

Now the voice of your inner man is your personal and inner guidance system. It is your ‘sat nav’ or ‘radar’. It will notify you if you are off track, like the guidance systems on a ship. Ignore at this information your peril. It is your conscience, or your inward spirit man, that will keep you in the right lane. It guides you through to peace. It gently keeps you away from rocks and shallow ground. Your inward man will speak gently inside you to encourage you, lead you and halt you. That voice is the rhythm of grace living on the inside of you.

Tune your heart to the rhythm of grace. You need to be in tune with the vibrations of the spiritual realm. Gods Spirit inside of you seeks and searches the realm of God’s wisdom. His Spirit will communicate to you! Your mind, anointed by The Word and the Holy Ghost, can tap into this. You can make decisions and apply the force of faith in the place of grace that you reside. The force of Faith propels you to press towards the horizon before you. The horizon on the open seas are full of dreams and successes to achieve!

You don’t have to make mistakes but if you do and you are in the realm of your grace, you will have the support and direction you need. It is a lot harder to get a ship out of port and moving than when it is in the open seas! God will never leave you or forsake you!

Romans 12:3

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

The force of faith within you has been measured to your grace. As you get promoted in grace and calling your measure of faith can and will grow. You will be able to access more power and more vision. The faith you have to achieve your assignment expands as you press into the things of God. Though there is a warning to heed, do not push your faith beyond the spiritual space in front of you.

Don’t go beyond your grace. Don’t change your destination, stay with the one you have been assigned. Don’t follow another ship to shore. Hear from the wisdom that is inside of you. Listen and tune yourself to the rhythm of grace. They are unforced.

Matthew 11:28 (The Message)

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it.

Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.

I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

If you can learn the unforced rhythms of grace you will not feel frustrated or worn out. You won’t push beyond where you need to be.

On a ship you can’t see beyond the horizon. You know so much more is out there, many adventures, islands and countries but you cannot reach them until the horizon opens up before you to see them. The map will tell you that they are there but you can’t land and explore until you arrive. Forcing faith to work beyond grace is like jumping out of the ship and trying to swim with your own strength to the land beyond the horizon.

The force of faith used correctly, within the flow of grace, will empower the ship of your life into the destiny of the unseen realm, the God realm. This is the place where the Spirit of God is calling you into. This is the leading of your heart. Your natural mind will want to quit, run ahead or even switch direction but stick with the Spirit!

You will get to where God is leading you. Don’t get out of the ship and drown. Don’t drive your ship into shallow water where you have to get out and row. Don’t drive your life into the rocks with impatient frustration.

Sail your ship with the fuel of faith right into the harbour port of great blessing and rest. This will be the time to fuel up and enjoy and then get ready to be sent back out to sea!!!
