Coping with Life? You are meant to thrive!!
Many times we are looking to fix the problem. We are brought up in this world to learn how to problem solve. Many times if something isn’t working the default is to try and fix the problem.
This works great if you are fixing a car or a machine. If you are working on some computer code and it isn’t getting the results you need you need to keep adjusting and changing.
This process, however, doesn’t always work in the faith life. The faith life is a calling that we stand in as believers. It is a calling that enables us to stand alongside our victorious brother, Jesus. Our faith life is a trust in God and His Word not in our ability to problem solve.
Our faith life is not something that we have a choice in. We are not allowed to walk in doubt and unbelief. We are not allowed to develop fear. We are believers, we are called to live above this world and above every circumstance. Our faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Faith overcomes our fleshly nature that desires to engage and dwell with the world. Our faith overcomes the attacks of the enemy and the circumstances that stand in the way of our success.
I want to say to you today, instead of trying to fix everything, start to enjoy the process. Enjoy the process of faith. Enjoy the fight. Enjoy going deep into the things of God. See the challenge before you and decide to press into the race. Faith is like going into a boxing ring with the opponent already on the floor. Faith knows the end result and faith gets thrilled to stand up and win again.
Believers need to find their winning shout again! To many of us are surviving through what we face. We are able to cope so we keep going under the circumstances. We can carry our ‘burden’ without God being involved and we survive. The problem with this is that God has called us to thrive!!
In fact, in the greek, that word desire in Mark 11:24 has an element that means ‘to call for’. The word ‘ask’, that Jesus says to the believer to do frequently, means the same thing. Abraham knew God as the God who ‘who quickens (makes alive) the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were.’ God was known as the God who calls things into being that look like they never existed!
In Hebrews 4:3 the Bible says that God has completed the work, has prepared the work and is waiting for all who would believe to receive the work (see Amplified Classic version). This was done before the foundation of the world! God is ready for you to reach out with your faith to take a hold of what is in your heart. He put the desires there in the first place (Ps 37:4)! He has completed the plan for your life and that plan is awesome!
With a plan like that we should be thrilled to get up and get going every day! God’s plan is meant for us to go after it and call into being. We call the plan and the desires we have into our lives. You never called for your dog to come to you when he is sat next you! You call for your pet when he isn’t there and you can’t see him! It is no good calling for your dinner when it is on the plate in front of you! If you don’t see the promises of God operating in your life you need to call for them! Your voice of praise and the shout of victory demands that the Word of God comes into being in your life!
Your health is on your lips. Your prosperity is on your lips. Your praise lifts up the victory in your life. You set your eyes on things above and your life begins to come into line. Don’t stop praising. Don’t stop declaring. Don’t stop asking. Keep your desires before the Father, who loves you. You are not trying to get Him to do it for you. You aren’t trying to change His mind. The work has already been done! It has been completed. It has been prepared for! Everything God has for your life is waiting for you to call on it to come!
Be like the eternal one. God spoke and light shone. Jesus spoke the Word and the servant was healed. Elijah prayed and the abundance of rain fell. It is time for you to call for the deluge of God’s prosperity to flow into your life. It is the flow of Grace that is connected to by your faith voice! You tap into it by becoming the believer who enjoys the process of faith!
You are born-agin. You have been bought and paid for. You are saved. When you called upon the name of the Lord you were saved. You called on salvation! Salvation came! Salvation includes EVERYTHING you need for a life of complete victory. It’s time to shout. It is time to dance and it is time to declare God’s Word like you mean it!!
Stop trying to fix the problem. Stop trying to carry a burden that has been removed. Carry His burden. His burden was designed for you! That burden is light and it contains your dreams, your desires and your success in His Kingdom! That burden will keep you leaping and praising. That burden will see you reach souls, see you laying hands on the sick and getting the job done! Your desires are completed by putting the Kingdom first!! You shall see it through!
