It might be time to CRAM!

James 1:2

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials [tests] of various kinds…

Have you ever gone into an exam knowing that it’s too late to rely on what you know because you didn’t spend the year learning what was needed? Have you had the sudden urge to cram in a year’s information into your brain within days? Are you a master at waiting for the last minute and then spending every waking minute preparing and memorising so that you scrape through with a pass?

Of course teachers and instructors worldwide would never advocate for the procedures above. This isn’t the way to learn something effectively and you may pass the exam but often or not it would be borderline and not with an A+ grade.

Life can become like this. Tests and trials come and we are not prepared to deal with them. They arrive with no warning, we are caught off guard. The trouble is that tests and trials are usually a result of actions and momentum that we have put into action. The words of our mouth, the habits of our lifestyle and momentum that we have instigated have put us in the position of having to deal with negative situations. This momentum we have created may not be immediate but eventually a test or situation will arise to confront us. Sometimes it is just an attack of the enemy that we weren’t prepared for. Either way we face something so overwhelming that our emotions, our roots, our faith are all pushed to the limit…

It’s now time to cram. It’s time to go so overboard on the Word of God that you eat, sleep and breathe scripture. There is no time to waste. We have to go extreme. Extremely passionate, extremely militant and extremely committed to God’s Word so that our hearts become so full of the answer that it is impossible for us to lose. We aren’t trying to earn a miracle we are fighting momentum. We are resisting the direction that we have allowed into our lives that has come from the negative. We have to fight tooth and nail to swing the pendulum back in our favour.

I heard one minister describe it this way. When you push a child on a swing it is very easy to do a hard stop if you have only just started the motion of the swing. On the other hand if you have them in full swing, going fully up and down, it would be dangerous for both you and the child to try and stop the swing immediately.

Momentum in your life is produced by your ability to learn how to follow God’s Word and obey the voice of the Spirit. You might need to cram today to remove the pressure and reverse the momentum but once that is done you will need to get the pendulum swinging for you and not against you. The devil will find it very hard to stop you if your momentum is going God’s way!

Learn this today: Consistency is your key to health and prosperity. Catching up may be necessary but building a foundation of success will take time to establish so that you don’t go through a constant cycle of cramming for the test you face! The devil comes immediately to steal the Word from you. His training reacts immediately against the word but often we don’t react immediately against a trial. If we sense things in the spirit we must learn to be quicker to respond to create the correct the shift in momentum.

Waiting for a crisis in health or wealth often allows momentum to be against you. The devil never plays fair but he also is aware when God starts to move in your life. He is aware of spiritual momentum and action. A test and trial can come when the enemy sees God is moving or when you start to attempt momentum in the direction of the Word. Resistance will come to test your resolve to what you believe. If the Word is in you in abundance the test can easily be passed, the less Word, the more the need to cram. You want consistency to be the determining factor!

This takes daily dominion. Daily taking the reins of your life. This is what is needed so that who you are in Christ remains at the forefront of everything you do. Daily putting in systems in your life so that your soul prospers and develops. A prosperous soul (mind, will and emotions) will immediately know when to lean into the spirit man on the inside for answers and solutions. You will face a test but it is an open book test. The more you prepare, the more you dominate. Your life receives quicker and more powerfully and you overcome tests and trials with the word of your testimony and the blood of the Lamb. This is why you can count a test a joy. You know you will overcome.

Build in your soul resolve. Decide and draw a line in the sand and declare, “Enough is enough! I will win! I will prosper! I will be healthy!” Now follow what the voice of your heart is saying. Is there something you need to do? Do you need to read more, study more or do you need to learn how to pray or operate in a higher level of faith? Whatever God needs you to do will be obvious if you listen. I challenge you to face whatever trial you are faced with head on. Get your Bible out and read the Word concerning what you are facing. Don’t be lazy! Get the Bible out. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Obey the voice of God.

Read Deuteronomy 28:1-14 daily. Hear the declarations that God made over you. You shall be the head and not the tail. You shall only go up and not down! The Lord will make you abound in prosperity!  You have been bought and paid for. Jesus died so you could enter the blessing of Abraham. You are not under a curse, you are under the flow of the blessing of God! Take your stand today and decide to never, ever give up because in the due season you shall reap of life everlasting!!

Daily Dominate!
