Rising up into a year of faith

The direction of your life depends on your ability to adapt and sync your life with God’s plan. God has a plan, and it’s worth knowing! To step into that plan, there is a key ingredient needed so you can follow and execute. That ingredient is faith.

Faith is substance. Faith is a force. Faith is accessible to every Christian. Faith is a foundation for your life of growth and development. With faith, you can expect the God connection we all need in life. God has performed an awesome event on the inside of you as you made Jesus Lord of your life. You are born again.

Being born again is a very special membership card that you hold. You became a new creation, and you have privileges. The enemy knows the markings of a Christian. You can’t hide yourself, no matter how hard you try. There is light on the inside of you, and that light is to shine.

Making the most of who you are is a responsibility we all have. We are to grow, to increase, to develop, and to be the best. God did not create losers. God placed inside you everything you need to rise in life. God created in you the ability to believe! You are a believer.

Your body doesn’t consume food, it assimilates the healthy requirements it needs. Your body is always trying to get healthy with what it takes in. It converts food into energy and health. Your spirit is made the same way. It was recreated in salvation to consume and digest the Word of God. You take the success and victory that Jesus accomplished and work with the Word of God. You achieve all that God says you can by digesting and acting on the Word!

This year is a year of faith. This year is a year of rising up. This year the church of Jesus Christ can decide to run, rise, and fly in 2025. He has made us capable and has commissioned us to achieve.

The God Kind Of Faith

Faith is what will get the job done. When Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11, He demonstrated the action of faith. When the disciples asked Jesus about the tree, He responded by saying, “Have faith in God.” This, in Greek, more specifically says, ‘Have the God-kind of faith.’

So, what do we need to have the God-kind of faith for?

To move mountains. To have what we say. To have our prayers answered. To forgive others (never forget that bit!).

Having faith in God is the foundation we develop as we dig deeper into God’s Word. We can’t use faith the way it is to be used if we don’t have faith in God. Faith in God is the starting point, but what I love is that Jesus took it further.

On the earth Jesus was dealing with people who grew up with a knowledge of God and His Law. They knew God in ways that surpass the thinking of our modern atheistic society. He was talking to Jews, the people of God. They were a mixture of fishermen and other lower-class individuals, but they knew God was the true God.

In our society, it is hard enough to get people to have faith IN God than to expect them to use the faith that God uses. The truth is that you will never use faith as proficiently as the creator of heaven and earth, but that’s okay. God uses faith as we need to, and He demonstrated how in the beginning of creation.

The Process of Faith

How did He teach us? He spoke. He believed. He let the Holy Spirit put into reality His Words. He spoke, “Light be.” Light was.

That’s the process of faith. You might not create a planet with your faith, but you can certainly create movement in your life. Faith speaks into a situation and brings change. True faith brings the creative power of the Word of God on the scene. You are speaking the answer when you speak God’s Word! If you are quoting God…you can never be wrong.

Faith relies on us speaking what we believe. When we speak, we either confirm or deny God’s operation in our lives. Rising to a new level of life or changing negative situations requires us to be lined up with what God says. There is no shortcut. We need to grow up in our thinking concerning life. There may be some leeway for a younger believer. However, if you still think like a child when you are 40 years old, something is wrong.

Understand this: Christians have within them the capacity to achieve great things in life. So does the non-Christian. The non-believer may have the wrong motives, but they can create success in life as much as a Christian. They can create great wealth and great families. They can function at high levels of life. They may not go to heaven in the end, but there are many happy and successful billionaires in the world. Christianity struggles with this.

Activate your Purpose

You and I have the same capacity and capabilities any human has. We have the same time, the same bodies, minds, and abilities. Why does the church fall short so often? Many times it is in our thinking. We settle for eternity. We settle for a future victory and don’t fight for the present victory that Jesus died for. We think that dying and going to heaven is enough. If you think like that, you are selfish. If you are only thinking about getting through to the end, you have missed the point of salvation.

The faith that salvation has provided for you is meant to be used. The God-kind of faith within you remains dormant unless you activate it. You need purpose, and so does your faith. Your faith can bring a dream to pass, your faith can create a future for your children. Your faith can help with people’s lives.

Rise in ‘25

This year will be as awesome as God has planned it to be. To take part you must activate your faith and chase down the plan that God reveals. You must act it out by faith. You must make the necessary adjustments in your life to act like God’s Word is true. This will take major changes in your thinking and in how you develop your life. You cannot remain stuck in a loop of unbelief or defeat. You must take responsibility to figure out how you can truly activate your purpose.

Your true purpose is not selfish. Your purpose is not self-serving. Your purpose is creative and is within you to serve others. Your purpose will grow with exercise. Your purpose will rise as you walk out your faith.

Faith was deposited within you at your new birth. The Spirit of God on the inside of you is willing you to activate it. Faith is yours to bring alive as you deepen your relationship with God’s Word.

Rise up this year in the belief of God’s Word, but also activate the faith you need to walk out God’s Word. His Word is full, rich, and magnificent. His Word will take you places. The faith you have in your heart is there so that you can access it and use it. The God-kind of faith, inside you, lined up with His purpose, will release you on this earth. You will provide the answers many people are searching for.

Take time this year to release, activate, and stand in your calling. Your assignment is beautiful, and it is yours to take. Go! Go now and fill this earth with the splendid aroma of God’s presence! It’s your inheritance. It’s your birthright. You are a faith champion. You are faith-filled. You are the one someone is waiting for.
